Four-time winner Matador Man, and an entrant into the Gr1 Vodacom Durban July, finished third to Elusive Silva in the weekend’s World Sports Betting 1900 at Greyville for trainer Sean Tarry and the connections.

The Scott Bros’ bred son of Toreador out of Sahara by Mogok recently had his half-sister sell to Dennis Drier at the National Yearling Sale, who trained his dam and her first born multiple winner by Toreador, Desert Fighter.

With six places (including third in the Gr1 Champions Cup) and his wins including the Secretariat Listed and KZN Breeders Million Mile, Matador Man has earned R 1,142,700 in stakes to date.

Space Tatoo by Miesque’s Approval – Rhumba In Space by Spaceship. His dam is a half-sister to Gr2 Emerald Cup winner MEADOW MAGIC. Space Tatoo is a half-sister to Gr3 pl and 6 time winner, African Dream.

Scott Bros had three other winners recently, including a son of in-form Just As Well, Mr Tinsel, and Space Tatoo (pictured right as a yearling).

It was the second win for the consistent Space Tatoo, who has also placed four times for Grant Paddock and is closely related to Meadow Magic and African Dream.

Frank Robinson’s Top Classman made it two on the trot, winning from 3-time victorious Ballymaine.

Under Lyle Hewitson and owned by the K&K Syndicate, Top Classman relished the longer trip over 2400m to win by three quarters of a length at odds of 20/1.
